VPR Publicizes 7th Annual Spirit of The Flame Challenge
March 30, 2010 - Molly McCarthy, VPR Principal, was again invited to publicize West
Valley Gymnastics' Spirit of The Flame Challenge, Northern California's largest women's
gymnastics competition.
This year's media results included on-going coverage on NBC and in the San Jose
Mercury News as well as event coverage across a multitude of local print and online
outlets, many radio stations, and several local television stations including KRON 4 and
KTVU.
Event coverage was consistently tied to the Olympics and included on-air interviews with
athletes, coaches and spectators. A highlight of the coverage was an interview on KCBS
radio with popular reporter, Besty Gebhart.
