VPR to Publicize California's Premier Women's Gymanstics
Event for 4th Year in a Row
January 12, 2009 - Molly McCarthy, VPR Principal, has again been asked by
West Valley Gymnastics of Campbell, California to act as the primary PR
Agency for the organization's annual Spirit of The Flame Competition.
This year, event organizers will host more than 700 of the nation's top female
gymnasts at Parkside Hall in downtown San Jose, from February 27 to
March 1. Organizers expect thousands of spectators over the course of the
3-day event.
VPR will again connect with local print, radio, and television sports
journalists to publicize the competition. Last year, VPR secured coverage in
the San Jose Mercury News, on NBC, on local radio and in a myriad of local
papers including SVCN, The Wave, The Metro and more.
