The Wonder of Japan Old Orchard Teacher & Staff Appreciation Lunch May 25, 2006
|
Set-up, Serve, Clean-up!
Set-up is from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. We will try to make the room feel like
Japan! We will put out linens, paper goods and decorations. We will also
prepare floral displays with donated flowers.
Heating food and setting-up the buffet goes from 10:30 to 11:45. We will heat
up food that was delivered in the morning and put it out on the buffet. We will
also make a fresh pot of rice. As well, we will toss salads and put out all
other food.
Serving/clearing goes from 11:45 to 1:30 p.m. We will monitor the buffet and
help ensure teachers have drinks and that tables are cleared as teachers
finish.
Clean-up starts at around 1:15 p.m. and lasts until around 2:30 (depending
on how many parents can stick around to help). We will need to get the room
back to its original condition.
Here is what we need:
Rentals: Pick-up (day before) and return (day of) -- Party Place/Campbell
Set-up and Flower Arranging (8:00 to 10:30)

It would be WONDERFUL if servers could wear Japanese attire!
